I've installed led signal lights on my tail lights and now it blinks like a million times per second.  its so fast that the relay doesnt even make a clicking noise anymore.... it just buzzes.  is there a way to make it blink slower without adding a resistor?  i dont need it to blink as slow as it normally blinks, but just slow enough so that i can tell that its blinking.  it blinks so fast now that you cant even tell its blinking.

Your right xetmes, there is electronic flashers out there. Use one of those in place of your OEM flasher.

depends on the car, some don't use standard two/three prong flashers.

for example, the 2nd generation mitsubishi eclipse and other similar DSM's.

the flasher/hazard unit for these is buried behind the stereo and is a wide flat box with a ten pin connector.

go to your dealership's parts dept and ask them to look up where your flasher is, and get a print out if possible.

you could also wire in a 3 ohm 20-25w resistor in parallel with your turn signal bulb, that way, to the flasher, your bulb is still there.
