Is it considered "good practice" to apply battery power to terminal 87 of a std 5 pin Bosch relay for a "make on energize" application.  This would leave no unused terminals energized as would be in the case if #30 carried the hot wire.

Application is automotive headlamp relays to redistribute the current carrying responsibilities.

Just wondering

I usually power 85, or 86 on my relays.
