I have a set of fog lights hooked up right now as the blinkers. My factory blinkers could not be used because of the knight rider nose on my car. They work great as blinkers with out any problems. Now I am wanting them as the front parking lights and blinkers. I know that the factory blinkers have a dual fillament in them to make them work as blinkers but I figured if I could put in a relay so that when I turn on my parking lights, the relay will turn on the fog lights but when I turn on the blinkers, the relay with switch on and off making the fog light blink. This is what I am trying to achieve. If anyone knows how to wire up the relay to do this, please let me know. I dont have any relays at the moment to test to see how I could do it.

try this

30   - output to parking lights

87   - 12vdc

87a - input from parking light switch

85   - negative input from turn signal

86   - 12vdc

if turn signal output is 12vdc...then you will have to put a ground on 86 and not 12vdc

you will need to use two relays...one for each side

if its jammed force it - if it breaks in the process it needed to be fixed anyway

brain fart.....change one thing on that relay set up....leave the 12vdc off of pin 87 and just leave it blank
