I am using a computer parallel port to control the windows and doors on my car. But the problem is computer parallel post only output 8 (5 volt) signal, but my car need more than 8. Is there a way I can branch out the signal, some one told me that I can use a 2-1 decoder that will give me 16 signals, but I don't how do I use that and how will relay hook up to it. Thanks!

It is possible to large combination of signals from all 8 outputs, but if you only want to use relays it will take a lot. If you use 7 outputs for control and the 8th one as a second function you can have 14 separate signals. I think it will take 15 relays to get 14 signals.
