Can 2 30A relays be wired in parallel to get greater output?

How much power do you need? It may be worth buying a heavy duty solenoid.

A solenoid or higher rated relay may be a better choice, but you can double (2) 30 amp relays to get a 60 amp capacity. How about a multi-pole relay with all poles parallelled? Remember a 3 pole 30 amp relay is 30 amps per pole.....2 poles paralleled = 60 amps.

you would be better off with a higher current switching device (as stated) switching time differences will lead to one of the relays carrying all the current, may never cause problems though...
