HI all, first time poster....

I am trying to wire up my fog lights. Simple right? I have everything wired up correctly and when I throw the switch the relay coil energizes for about .5 second and then cuts of. Basically it doesn't stay latched. I have checked the power on the relay socket at 86 and I have the 12V when I turn on the switch. I have swapped the relay out with two others with the same result. Anyone every have this problem, a search can up with nothing.

Thanks,

Alex

Post what all your connections are at the various pins of the relay?

You should have:
Constant 12V at 87
Either 85 or 86 should be grounded
12V going into your switch, and then to the other
    terminal either 85 or 86
Pin 30 going to the lights

Hi, Thanks for responding back.

I jumped the gun and posted before I started a little troubleshooting. I was trying to hook up a factory fog light switch with my newly wired fog lights. It turned out that I had to reverse the connections on the switch to get it to work. I was trying to wire it up like it was in the manual, but with my wiring.

Thanks again,

Alex
