I'm bench testing 2 relays wired to flip flop pos/neg for a boat hatch actuator.  One relay works just fine, the other may chatter or not work at all.  If I remove the wires and test, it tests good.  Tried with a couple of different relays with same result.  I'm using the layout shown below.  What gives?

How much holding current, and voltage are you applying to operate the relays?

As it sounds like there is not enough of one, or the other, to hold the relays open / close state.

Im using a 10amp battery charger for benchtesting.

Thanks for the info Teken, power checked good but while I was there I re-checked all the leads.  Seems one of the crimp connectors had broken a wire and it was arcing causing the relay to chatter!
