Can you guys tell me where its best to find this at?  A mechanicaly latching 12 volt relay.  I need this to open for long periods of time and will not be switching states that often but when I do I dont want it (the coil) to be contiually using power. thanks for your help :)

what is the application? relays by def are not mechanical

How many Amps? How will you Switch it on and off?
