why would you put 12v to the alarm, why not just hook up a relay?

If the car has a (-) dome light wire, then you will need to use this: https://www.velocitymotorsport.com/images/install_notes/105.jpg

the (-) trigger input is't from the door. it's from the brain of the alarm sending a (-) tirgger out put for 30 to 60 seconds after alarm is disarmed. will the 12v+  coming from the contant damage the brain?

No 12 volts won't fry the unit.
