I have a 2001 F-250 Super duty with factory keyless entry. The previous owner had a Ultra Start U-1500 installed, no dome light supervision (older model). I would like to trigger the factory dome light supervision (stays on for about 30 sec) with the ultra start fob. I think I have read that you can run a diode off the negative door trigger back to a module? A pulse relay timer is also another possibility but I wanted to check it out with everyone here.

All my info says to use door trigger. This means if your system dont have a domelight output you will have to use some type of pulse timer and maybe a spdt relay also. Let me know if you got any questions.
