i just installed a remote start/ alarm ststem in my 1997 blazer cant get remote start to work must be doin it wrong please help with install

In order for anyone to provide assistance, let us know what symptoms you have.  For example, Does the remote starter crank the engine at all?  Also, what model of remote starter did you install?

I INSTALLED A COMMANDO RST-560 AND I CAN NOT GET THE REMOTE START TO DO NOTHING.MUST BE HOOKIN IT UP WRONG ITS MY FIRST TIME AND PROB SOMETHIN STUPID

Did you program the remote control ? Did you program the tach signal to the unit ? Did you put the fuses in line for the power wire ? Did you ground the chassis ground wire to the frame of the car ? Make sure that you did all these things and then afterwards, clode the hood and ensure that the pin switch is grounded and try to remote start the truck.
