i want to hook up a circuit that holds the parklights on for 15 seconds or so after the ignition is turned off.  should be able to do this with a relay and a capacitor eh? i know i could use a timer module but would rather make my own.  any help would be great

Here is one that works.

Instead of hooking the wires to the dome light switch hook them across the Parking light switch.

I was just about to ask a question very similar to this one...

About how long of a delay would this create? And what is the transistor for?
