i am trying to hook up the relays. used the diagram below for (-) trigger doors. im doing this in a 2001 ford f150 without factory keyless. the door trigger i think is my problem. i tried to use the black\yellow wire in the driver kick panel. as soon as i hook it up to 12 volt power all i get is fast ckicking noises. what am i doing wrong????

Maybe a bad ground or poor connection. Any additional resistance may cause low amperage to the relays.

The astrochart shows this problem, and gives this for a fix...... Isolate the starter wire with a relay!

pin 85 gets your remote start wire

pin 86 goes to ground

pin 87 gets fused 12 volts (20amps)

pin 30 goes to your trucks starter wire Try it ?
