I hooked my viper alarm up to the door locks on my truck.  they work fine, But when i turn the truck off, the door locks open?  Any idea why this happens? or is that a viper thing?

I was curious if i needed a resistor or sumthing on the trigger side of the relay coil?  I don't understand why this happens?

That would be what is called "ignition controlled locks". So basically when you turn the car off the door locks unlock right?. It can be disabled if you want.
