I have a 99 durango slt. I just hooked up a prestige 995 remote start to it . Evreything else is working except the doorlocks this vehicle has a factory keyless entry unit. I tried hooking up a DLS-2 dr lock interface because it is a reversal at ground rest circuit but it still does not make the alarm pop the locks should I use a DEI 452T Door lock pulse/double pulse generator unit to fix this problem.  Also this vehicle has drivers door lock priority.

Looks just like a plain ol' positive-trigger system to me.

this is easy your alarm should be putting out a pos and a negative  all you have to do is find the ORANGE / purple wire (power lock ) and the pink purple (power unlock. not the two wires for the motor side stated above. you want the power lock/unlock mod cause that goes into the relays and controls all the locks . now after you find them experiment take one wire from alarm and connect it to one and the other to the other, if the door locks work opposite. lock on remote unlocks  etc, than switch the two wires , what happens is all alarms send out a negative when on one wire and a poss on the other so a possitive system is easy . if you need more help email me and i will tell you what you need to know
