:errr:Thanks for the info Guys. I am really just using the EQ to up my rca line outputs. Don't really need the EQ but I was hoping to help out the "floor". I did have a couple of questions regarding grounds. I know , I know I have looked at what seems to be hundreds of posts. First I have already grounded the head unit to the existing factory wiring. Second both amps are far apart and the MTX amp is grounded seperately from the Kenwood and the capacitor, (they are grounded together). I placed another ground from the battery to the firewall, (same gauge as the main power lead (4). All grounds are ground down to pure metal. Everything sounds great, but I wanted to know should I run a ground cable from the mtx amp to othe other components that currently share a ground even if everything sounds o.k.? I guess I want to make sure I am not damaging any of my components. I realize everything should be grounded to the same point. So with this in mind do I need to run a wire from the head unit back to the amp grounds? Second, when testing for resistance I unhook the power supply and place one lead on the positive supply and the other on the ground? I apologize but I am trying to follow as best I can. Last thanks to AUEX for the diagram. Is the 12 volt lead going to lead(87) can that be powered from a 12 volt constant or does this need to be a 12 volt switched lead? The lead that goes to pin 87 of the relay should be constant but if need be it can be switched. Remember it is only going to go throug the relay when the radio is on. As far as the grounds go, as long as you don't have any engine noise then I would leave everything as is.
