yeah hey guys I have a slight problem with my door locks.  I followed my ungo ms 2000 install manual.  According to them,

1st relay

  • 87 and 86 constant 12 volts (+)
  • 85 unlock wire from alarm
  • 30 to actuator
  • 87a from switch

2nd relay

  • 87 and 86 constant 12 volts(+)
  • 85 lock wire from alarm
  • 30 to actuator
  • 87a from switch

I followed this to the book, and each time I plugged in the fuse to the 12 volt power wire, the fuse blows.  I don't know what to do?

I see the problem, you have power going to one of the pins that is supposed to go to the alarm. Go to this diagram and it will fix your problem:

hey,

I was just looking at the diagram, and wouldn't cutting the wire running from the switch to actuator, and using only the wire to send a signal to actutator break the circuit running through the swtich and the actuator, rendering the switch on the doors useless?

No ,because the relay circuit is normally closed connecting the pin 30 to pin 87a. This way the switches still work and you won't have a problem.

Another thing that could be causing problem is that you didnt cut the wires from master switch.

sorry if I don't get it but according to the diagram there is only a signal going to the actuator, the relays don't receive any signal from the door locks, so how do my door locks still work if they the wire carrying the signal is not wired to the relay? (87 mustang factory door locks, not aftermarket, I'm assuming they are reverse polarity)
