I recently bought two pairs of projector foglights, 55w each, and I have factory foglights right now (55w) in a 2002 Mitsubishi Galant. I want to replace the factory foglights w/ two sets of projector foglights. What is the easiest way for me to do that? Do I use the existing power and ground? Please be as detailed as possible because I've never dealt much w/ relays at all. Thank you so much.

I would use the factory power plugs if possible. No need to create extra work for nothing. I have installed alot of fog lights on many different cars I always use the factory power if it exists.

would I just split the power and run one to each foglight, because I'm going to have two sets of foglights.?

Why go with two sets the one should put out enough light.
You can split the power but I wouldn't because then you are
going to have to upgrade the fuse and who knows what else may be running off the same power lead.I would run with just the one set myself. If you want two sets look in to using a relay to split the power or just wire up a new power line that should come with the kit.

Why 2 pairs? 1 set of quality fogs should be fine. It would be like 2 Kraco amplifiers vs a Fosgate.

You aren't going to find them at wally world, or for $30.00 either. Spend the money and buy some Hellas or Cibies.

RE: wiring. The oem crap is too small for lights. On my jeep replacing the OEM wiring with 12-2 increased my headlight voltage by almost a volt, which translates to about 20% more light output.
