i bought a car and it had a relay for remote turn on. i took the relay off and all of a sudden theres alot of noise coming from speakers. i noticed it didnt do it before i took relay off. Using a 4 channel amp /w 2 ground loop isolators into a y cable. if i wire a relay would the noise dissipate? how to wire it also

Look for a loose ground where the relay was connected.

Also connect a ground wire from your hood to your frame.

1) Are you absolutely certain that this relay is for remote turn on? I ask this because usually the relay(s) for remote turn on are inside the RS's "brain".

2) Just curious, but why did you remove the relay? I am sure you had a good reason to do so.

Can you trace back the trigger and switch connections to this relay to see where they come/go from/to? That will surely help too.

Since you say the sound started after you removed this relay, could it be possible this relay was used in some way for your audio system?
