I think I need a relay so I can install a few fans for cooling of amps. I think the idea I have will work but I haven't messed with relays in a while. Let me know if this is gonna work. Thanks for all the help.

well that didnt work I will just explain what I think is right.

87 goes to the amp, fans, etc...
87a not used
86 goes to HU remote
30 goes to 12v Batt.
85 ground

Am I wrong?

I thonk a head unit remote does not run at 12v. Which maybe why it didn't work
