Greetings everyone. can anyone tell me the wire colors on this relay and which colors are pos & neg & ground, etc.? this is going in a 2001 honda crv. jeff, this is the solution that was given to me by DEI tech support. the reason why my locks are not functioning is that the crv's need high output relays. this dei relay has 2 40amp relays built in. the one thats in there right now was homemade. tech support said that these homemade relays tend to freeze up in cold weather in the crv's. i guess that explains why my locks acts up in cold and rainy weather. thank you to everyone in advance for any replies.

If you call DEI, they can probably fax you a diagram.

Hey boymata,

The Purple and the PURPLE / Black which are connected together and go thru a fuse to ground.

The GREEN/ Black goes to the GREEN / WHITE lock wire in the car.

The Blue/Black goes to the GREEN/ Orange unlock wire in the car.

The Green goes to the lock negative output from the aftermaket alarm.

The Blue goes to the unlock negative output from the aftermaket alarm.

The Red is 12V positive.posted_image

hey man,

i've only called them one time (the number was 1-800-876-0800).  I had asked them for a diagram of the 530t, and gave her my fax number.  I asked her when she'd be sending it, and she said right away.  The fax came in about 15 minutes.  I would say if you didn't get it, give them a ring back.  I never left a message (not sure if you did or not).....I actually got a real person.

Good luck.  (although Big Dog has the wiring above, so maybe you don't need them anymore?)
