Can i do this with your normal SPDT bosch style relay?

85 - (-)alarm trigger
86 - 12v constant
30 - 24v from hydraulic system
87 - 24v to hydraulic solenoids to activate pump.

any help is much appreciated......i figured the 12v and the (-) would work as a team and the 24v would pass right through without damaging the relay but i could be wrong.

Yes you can do this but you must respect the proper Amp ratings. Most of the time 30 amps is the maximum allowed

and generally that 30A rating is at 12vdc, and may change to a lower amount at a higher voltage

Thanks for the help......the 24v output will only be activating a larger solenoid so the amp draw will be very little.
