Ok here is the deal, Ive got a 05 f250 I bought a keyless entry alarm sys on e-bay, it's installed and everything is working except the interior lights when I arm or disarm it. I put meter on the wire and I get a ground but no pulses when system is armed or disarmed. i guess something is wrong with system (guess thats why i got it for such a good price). Here is my question, can I hook it up so the dome lights come on when the doors are unlocked and off when the doors are locked? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Need more info like system brand. Most systems work like this. The dome light output is low current so you need a relay. You need a relay anyway because the dome light trigger is positive. The output from most systems should have ground only after disarm for a preset amount of time. Connect most systems like this.

#85 to domelight output from system, #86 and #30 to fused high current source, #87 to domelight trigger wire in vehicle. Always test wires with DVOM first! Good luck.
