Auto Open/close sunroof

i want to add an auto open and close function to my sunroof. Ive looked over the relay diagrams, and have decided i will probably need the momentary to constant diagram, but i am somewhat confused on how to get started. Im not sure what some of the labeled wires in the diagram are and where they come from? and also, once a press the button, and the second relay begins functioning, how will it know when the sunroof is fully opened, so the relay will stop trying to open it?

You just want it so you can play the song pimp juice. Well, hoes will see it, and they WILL believe it because my sisters 99 cirrus goes back on its own.

seriously though, try using a window module for this. You will need a circuit that will shutoff when it is overloaded, so once the sunroof is opened all the way, it will shutoff the motor. They make power window modules that have this feature built in, and it would probably be a lot easier to use one of those instead of making your own.

AsianWolfhas some pretty cheap prices.   I think the module you are looking for should be made to control one window up and down.   I think you would need two of the $13.99 ones from asian wolf...    But before you buy anything, wait until someone more knowledgable on this topic posts. I'm gonna see if I can find a wiring diagram to tell you exactly what you need and how to do it.

I have used one of the window modules from Asianwolf and had good results. Wire the module to the appropriate wire of you sun roof and also wire one of your auxillary inputs to the module so you would have remote control your alarm remote auxillary channel.
