I just changed out the stock handlebars and switches on a 2004 HD Sportster. The original hi/low beam switch and the off/on kill switch were rocker style. The new switches are momentary contact buttons. I want to use a standard 5 pin relay as shown in the online diagrams. Currently there were 3 wires going to each switch. to simplify, 1 hot, 1 position "A", 1 position "B". If I run the hot lead to one side of the switch then from the other side of the switch to the on side of the coil on the relay (85). Then run a ground to the otherside of the relay coil (86). Then attached wire from position "A" to relay (87) and attached wire from position "B" to relay (87a). The only thing that I should need is to pig tail off the original hot lead going to the switch and attach that to the relay (30). I keep blowing fuses and I'm trying to sort this out. I checked for grounds and shorts. The only thing that I have done differently than above is that I pulled a hot lead from the accessory circuit rather than the actual light circuit.

This is the circuit as I currently have it wired. This is a latch circuit, correct?
