I'm looking to wire up an ignition over ride onto my 95 Caprice.

I've got 3 complete thinga-ma-jiggers that I grabbed out of ex-squad cars. One is just 4 wires connected to a toggle.

Ignition =85
Accessory = 85
Ground = 86
Constant = 87

Connected to a toggle.

The 2nd is

30 - Constant
85 - Toggle
86 - Ground
87 - Ignition
87 - Accessory

And the 3rd is

30 - Constant
85 - Ground
86 - Toggle
87 - Ignition

Which one do you duys believe would be the best to use?

Option 1 won't work, as you will have to have something on pin 30 before you ever get anything out of 87.

Option 2 won't work,  as you shouldn't tie your ignition and accessory together

Option 3 would work fine, as long as you toggle a (-) signal.

Ok, here's the toggle switch setups that these have. I opened up the box from the 1st one to make the diagram and noticed 30 is connected to the toggle. the pic will explain more
