I'm trying to install a set of H4 HIDs, but can't get them to turn on. I did some probing with a multimeter at the 4 prong relay and got the following values:

85 - 12V
86 - 12V
87 - 12V
30 - 0V

85 and 86 are coming from my OEM headlight harness, 87 is 12V from the battery, and the 30 pin is going out to the ballast. I'm assuming the lights aren't working because no power is getting to the ballast. However, I can't figure out why the relay isn't sending out 12V to pin 30. I have a ground wire from the ballast to the negative terminal on my battery, so I assume my ground is sufficient. Any help?

85 & 86 can not be the same polarity. One has to be a (-) trigger.
