Hello folks,

Not good with relays and I am installing a pair of backup lights on the back of my truck. This is the plan: Two individual single setting lights, two relays, and one simple on off toggle switch. If you guys could tell which wires to run on the positions of the relay that would be very excellent, thanks!

Kevin

Ground the lights to the vehicle chassis. Relay coils will get their ground through the toggle switch.

so I would run a power to 85/86/30, 87 to lamps, and not worry about grounding relays, correct?

86 goes to one side of the switch the other side to ground (Arrows pointing down are ground).

85 and 30 to power

87 to the lights
