Subject: Adding relays for extra actuators?

I have a Prestige APS-25CH installed on my 2002 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab. The vehicle has no power options so the previous owner added actuators to the front doors to gain keyless entry with the alarm. I thought I could basically "tap" off that signal and run two more actuators to the rear doors giving me complete keyless entry with the alarm. I tapped into the two front signals and added actuators to the rear doors and everything worked flawlessly for about two weeks and now only the driver side front and rear doors are working. I don't know much about relays but I'm thinking this may be the problem? There are two 5-pin relays hooked up two the "door lock outputs" from the alarm....Anyone have any clue what I should do to correct the problem? Do I need to add two more relays and If so, how do I configure them into the current setup? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

you don't need extra relays sounds to me your problem might be the wiring or the motors themselves.

1 relay locks and the other unlocks.....therefor the relays are working fine...your drivers door is working....check the spot you tapped in ...or the wires from the relays that go to the passengerside of the vehicle.

good luck,   xs
