i have a 92 firebird and i want to make it so my under carriage neons flash with my alarm. i have pin 85 tapped into the siren positive output wire. and pin 86 to  ground. then on pin 30 i had the postive wire of the neon. on  pin 87 i have a postive 12V. so ifigured when the siren wire getthe positive signal the switch will go from 87a to 87 making the lights flash. but when i do this the fuse keeps blowing on the12v wire when i hit the disarm or arm button on my alarm. what am i doing wrong?

thanx

Sounds like somthing is grounding out downstream from your relay.  Check all your wires throughly for naked places.  You might even try some flex loom to put over your wires to prtect them from the elements.  Good luck, Brian
