hello, i am trying to figure out how to remote start a computer that i have wired in my truck. I drive a 98 navigator and use an asianwolf 8000rs alarm. Im only using it with the shock trigger and a tilt sensor. It has the ability to add 2 other Auxiliary Channels with Selectable Output Types, (Pulsed, Timed or Latched). What i want to do it this, I want to be able to turn on my computer either when i start the car or with the remote. I already have it to turn on with the key but i want to figure out how to remote turn it on because lets say i want to update my music files from home, ill just push a button on my control, turn on the computer that has a wireless card in it, remote into it and update. i saw this

Is this how i am supposed to wire it? the remote turn on lead is the aux from the alarm? thanks

yes... that will work.  just cot the wire you have now and connect the end going to the computer to 30 and the one coming from the ign to 87a...this will allow it to still turn on with the ign.

in that diagram the input on 86 is expected to be 12V, the aux output from your alarm will be negative, tie pin 85 in with 87 to the fused 12V, then connect output from the alarm to 86.

so by me doing this, will this still allow the computer to turn on by itself when i turn on the car. cause thats what i want. I want 2 ways of powering it, with my remote for the alarm and the normal way, with the ignition of the car? thanks
