hi,

i'm guessing a power antenna control box... Year, make and model of vehicle would be most helpful of course.

Definately the power antenna control box most likely from a Toyota/Lexus. It was probably just loose in the trunk because the antenna is broken, and they unplugged it to keep the antenna motor from running. Just a guess though ;)

I would say you own a toyota or lexus. The box in question has something to do with your taillights, I guess tell you when one is out. My friend has a gs300 lexus and half of his tails stopped working and the box was blown. $300 to replace and plugged it in and boom blew again. I checked the rest of the harness to the tails and nothing wrong so I played around and reconnected the wires in the harness side plug with jumpers and everthing has worked flawless ever since.
