I have seen a few different ways to wire a relay for a starter kill, with a diode and without.  Is it best to use one or doesn't it matter.  If I was to use one, would I use a 1 amp, 2 amp or more?

Sorry about that, I found my answer about using a diode.  But I would still like to know what kind to get.

A one amp diode will do just fine.  Brian
