Hi everyone,

I have got a 12V Motor. and i got i a button like the one below.  "DPDT Switch Centre Off Spring Return Both Sides. Momentary contacts with spring returns to centre on both sides".

At the moment, when i want the motor turn clockwise, i just connect it to the car battery, and when i want it to turn anti- clockwise, i just reverse the polarity. really stupid way and inconvinient

so I  want to make a setup, when i press the  top  side switch, the motor rotate clockwise, and when i press the buttom side switch, the motor rotates anti-clockwise. And i dont press it doesnt rotate.

I dont really know about the relay/switch, but i think i could connect it up if someone can draw up a diagram.

Please help~~~

That would be the switch, and that is the normal layout for the connections- center are common and the outer ones are for the 2 positions. It will not short.

Make sure you switch can handle the current of the motor or it will short!!!!!
