I have a Dei 528t and I want to do the following, but can't figure out this relay.

I have an electronic meter (no on or off button, it turns on automatically when it recieve power). I currently have it powered by the cigarette light fuse so that it turns on when I have my key in. I want to delay turning on the device for 60secs after I put the key in.

They Dei 528t relay seems to be able to do what I ask of it, but I can't figure out the trigger. I can't get it to trigger. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you need to PULSE the trigger wire( BLACK/ white) not have a constant on thsi wire.

for a negtice input leave the blue loop wire uncut, for a postive input cut the blue loop

Is there anyway to bypass the trigger wire all together?

if you cut the loop and hook the trigger wire up to the accessory wire at the ignition, it'll do what you want.  Since the 528t triggers when a positive signal is removed from the trigger wire.  The only down side is if you have an r/s in the car the 528t will not trigger properly when you r/s the car.
