Guys please help out if you can.
Here is the situation last year I installed a start push button on my car I did it by wiring 9 dpst relays and 1 dpdt relay all was wire to the push button start, as a safety I added an immobiliser with 2 reed switches and 2 Limit switches (my car is a manual trans) so the car never start if the stick shift was left on gear or if the reed switches were not activated, and still having the option to use the key as normal or the push button.
Couple of night ego my car got broke in to, they try to hot wire the car but with all the wires the only thing they did was rip wires off and car was left with a mess of wires.
Now I been trying to get it to work as it did before but I just don't have the brains to figure out how all was wired.
I know here are many bright people that might be able to help me out, I have a car show coming up and I would like to have ready again, last year it give some point with the judges to have all that done.
The option before was, push button and car will start; ign1, ign2 and acc would stay latch, starter would get power only for as long the push button was pushed, to turned car off just push again on the push button and the latch was release and car will turn off , had to swiped a magnet over a reed switch to activated the immobiliser and it was safe to walked away .

When you say the latch releases on the second push of the button, are you saying there are two switch positions? i.e 1st push - button latches for ignition signal and also sends signal to starter but only while pressed. And 2nd push of button just unlatches - releases signal to ignition. Or did the relays latch on when the button was pressed?
What wires do you have on the switch and how do they interact with each other when the putton 1st pressed and 2nd pressed?

Hello there.
Sorry guys, the option was push on button and got power to ign1,2, acc and starter for as long the push button was pushed, to turn system off I had to swipped the reed switch to close to ground and all was unlatched, same thing to start the system had to swipped another reed switch to close to ground making the system ready to push on button.
Thing I learn from this never thrust on memory and take some time and put it on paper so next time its easyer.
