I am trying to find out a few things.  Mostly how to correctly wire a relay.

I have two wires comming from the brain of my alarm, One way to wire it is to have it throw a - signal to both lock and unlock.  you can also wire it so that it has +signal.  The problem I am running into is that neither the -signal or the + signal are strong enough to trigger the locks.   My question is how do you properly wire up the relays to boost either + signal or -signal?  I would appreciate both diagrams if possible.

Thanks for your hlep.

Chris

if you want to wire for negative door locks you would connect

pin 87 to ground

pin 86 to 12 volts

pin 85 to the negative trigger of the keyless unit

pin 30 to your door lock/unlock wire

if you have positive locks, you wire the relays the same, except pin 87 would be wired to 12 volts.

You stated "pin 85 to the negative trigger of the keyless unit"-would that be the lock trigger or the unlock trigger?
