I have an alarm system that I want to add an extra siren to for when the alarm is triggered. I don't want this extra siren to sound during normal unlocking and locking of the doors. I think that I need a relay that has a timer or something. Any help is much appreciated.

you need a flasher unit and a regular bosch relay. i'd tap into the factory horn too as it is louder that an alarm siren. a flasher can be bought at any autoparts store for under two bucks. ask for a 12volt flasher. they're usualy in the help section.
