I was wondering how to install my horn to pulse, and my siren continous. I have a k9 classic alarm system, I am driving a 1989 pontiac bonneville. Do I need just one relay, and what are the pin outs? Anybody got any information on how to wire the siren and horn I would appreciate it. Thank you.

OK THE SIREN YOU CAN JUST WIRE IT TO YOUR ALARM AND IT WILL BE CONTINIOUS AND THE HORN YOU CAN JUST USE A FLASHER TO MAKE IT PULSE
sorry for writing in caps and i just wanted to add something for your horn just get a two prong flasher and run it witha rellay use the signal coming from your alarm to your siren and power your relay on you relay 87 is out put going to your flasher 30 would be the switch signal from alarm 86 constant power 85 ground to relay
Let's see if we can be of a little more help here:
First question - is the Alarm's Siren output +12V or -12V ? We'll get back to this a bit later...
Ok, you will need a relay & a simple two leg flasher.
Relay Wiring:
87 : +12V (FUSED!)
30 : Flasher Leg (either one is fine)
85 & 86 ... ok, now, if the alarms siren output is neg(-), one leg goes to +12V and the other goes to the alarms neg(-) siren output. If the alarms siren output is pos(+), then one leg goes to GROUND and the other goes to the alarms pos(+) siren output.
Flasher Wiring:
One leg goes to 30, as mentioned above. The other leg gets spliced into the horn wire(s) - between the horn(s) and the factory horn relay. Doing this right at the horn is best.
Also, if you have an electronic flasher, you could do this inside the passenger compartment at the steering column. Just use the electronic flasher to pulse the factory horn wire - usually a neg(-) trigger to factory horn relay.
Or - perhaps the light flash wire, thru a relay & then to the neg(-) horn wire inside the car would work ... that'd make the car's horn(s) "Beep" whenever you armed/disarmed the alarm as well.
So many choices...so many choices...
