i am trying to hook up power door locks using 2-wire acutators with a diagram from the relay section of this web site but it seems to blow the fuse once i connect to ground can anyone explain as to why this diagram doesnt work and maybe tell me thanks

both relays wired like this standard 5 pole bosch relays not 5 pole dual 87a relays. look at the numbers on your relay match them with how mine are set up and verify the numbers as well. you need a 85, 86, 87, 87a, and a pin 30 for this to work.



pin 85 negative input
pin 86 and 87 12 volt fused
pin 87a ground
pin 30 wire going to actuator

same thing for both relays
to get lock and unlock right just switch the negative input wires from one relay to the other if the process of lock or unlock is not correct.

you can connect upto 4 actuators on these two relays just make sure your fuse can handle 4 motors.
