I working on a vehicle that has six scene lights, (2 left, 2 right, and 2 rear) the customer wanted the lights to come on when the vehicle goes into reverse and he wants the to also work when he hits the 3 switches in the console (left, right, and rear) The way the I wired it up was I used 3 SPDT relays to control the lights. Then for the inputs I attached a diode to each wire to keep them from back feeding into each other. Is there an easier way to do this? Someone mentioned to me a double pull double throw rely. Is that correct and what would the wiring diagram be for that?

Thanks in advance.

Okay I will try to help you.

3 standard relays will do the job fine.

I will work out the circuit for you as soon as I can.
