Subject: latching relay to pass continuity

I am looking to use a latching relay to pass a continuity (activating a video trigger) with a separate pulse point for open and closed.  I was Looking at the "Momentary to constant ouput" relay diagram, as a starting point and adding a third NC relay to interupt ground to reset the system and I would run both outputs from a - pulse on a remote.  My thinking is that relay 2 would pass the continuity after being triggered by number one, or would this just end up being momentary?

Is this possible.

Thanks for any help and humoring a newbie

This diagram will not work as shown, but if you swap the leads going to pins 30 and 87 on the top relay, it will.

That is exactly what I did on my diagram. It just unlatches the first relay.
