I actually found the owners manual for this thing. Wow, it does everything.

Part Number: TR-7
The TR-7 Is a universal module that combines many features into one box.
Carrying one TR-7 will cover more than 16 different SKU# and here is some
of them:
• Low voltage trigger. Gives you +12v output from headunits that do not have a remote output.
• Alpine CVA-1005, CVA-1006, IVA-C800, IVA-801, CVA-1003, IVA-W200 Video Bypass
• Latching outputs
• Double Pulse Output
• Pulse Extender
• Horn Honking Output
• Linear Actuator Controller
• Doorlock Pulse Generator
• Channel Splitter
• Pulses to Constant output
• 3 in 1 timer outputs
• Pulses to latch/unlatch outputs
• Pulses to pulse output
• Pulses to timed output
• Latching outputs #2.
• Turn on pop delay
• Delayed amp turn off Now thats a lot of stuff in a small package with only 7 wires.
Hows that possible?
Its all done through programming. Microcontroller based means no potentiometer to adjust for timers.
Setting the timer output is all done through programming. Trigger the TR-7 with either a (-) or (+) input.
LED indicator and program switch.
This product is solely for the purpose of interfacing with a rear backup camera.
