hey all. im going to try something out. i got an idea for strobe lights and the little $25 kit isn't cuting it anymore. so

i have a spair headlight bulb and i picked up the relay in the title and i want to make my headlight bulbs my strobe lights ( i know its illegal as hell, but just go with it ). the relay is a 3 terminal one. but i dont know how to hook it up.

when its all done i want the left headlight to shine the low beam. and the right to blink the high beam and alternate.

the relay has the abreviations next to the terminals reading L, B, and E. how do i hook this up so it blinks the high beam?

thanks alot. if i wasn't clear on anything i'll try and clearify it for you

Low beams are on steady, and you want the high beams to alternate going on and off from left to right in a wig-wag action?

Or do you want left high right low then left low and right high?

confusing but all doable.

alright thanx alot..thats exactly what i needed.

"Or do you want left high right low then left low and right high"

thats what i wanted them to do. so i can just turn on the headlights low beam and flip the switch and have the high beams alternatly flash back and forth or leave the low beams off and do the same thing...thanx you so much tho, i've been trying to figure this out for like a month.

so what will i need to to delay one of the relays so they dont flash at the same time.

Use the same size wire your headlight wires are.

Relays are available online or at most stereo shops including Best Buy's Install bay.

Directed Electronics Model 8617 (525T) about $10 each
