Hi People,

I have installed some driving lights on my pajero, unfortunatly I have had a few issues wiring it up correctly, due to a negitive switching head light system (so I have been told) I have installed it like the picture.

The Headlight terminals work like this. when on low beam the lowbeam terminal is 12 and highbeam terminal is 0v. when the highbeam is on the lowbeam terminal is 0v and the High Beam terminal 12v. the common is always 12v.

Now that I have wired it as above. the driving lights come on when i have switched on my headlights and activated Highbeam. this is great.
however if i turn my manual switch off (luminated one) when the lights are on lowbeam the driving lights come on. This has gotten me very confused.

Can any one help me with this?

G'Day
Your solution is easier than you realise. You have to connect Pin 85 on the relay to the common on the lamp, then connect the high beam of the lamp to Pin 86, when the High beam goes on so does your driving lights.
You can install a switch in the High Beam line if you want.
