Ok I want to use a relay for each set of fog lights and use a separate switch to turn on each set individually and I know there is a way to do it with out having to run a new power wire to the battery for each relay I just don't know to wire them up.

I was going to just hook them up per the instruction with out a relay but I was told that I should use one. To keep from burning up the switch. I just do not know how to do it.

What are the wattages of the fog lights?

You can wire them direct to a switch as long as the switch is rated to handle the the current draw of the lights. For example, a pair of 50w lights draws 8.3 amps, so they could be wired direct to a 10 amp switch.

Sorry it took so long to reply have been working crazy hours as of late.

I am just running the 2 pair of 50wats fog lights, I have 2 30 amp relay one for each set, I am using them for rock lights for my Jeep for playing at night it gets a little hot here in Tucson in the summer time so its nice to make some night runs and seeing where my tires are at on the rocks is a good thing.

could you just use one switch to control all the relays/fog lamps?

i don't see a problem with it...
