Did you know that the Relay was invented in 1835 by a guy names Joseph Henry. Isn't that just nuts? wth they need to use relay back in the day for?

To use a low powered signal to turn-on a high powered device. The same reason they are used today.

I think Morse adapted his coil principle and made the first working relay.
