hello all,

i saw someone had this ignition kill setup on his vehicle.  if he were to press this momentary button, the vehicle's ignition was killed.  when he pressed the momentary button again, the car's ignition was enabled.

anyone know which type of relay setup that does this?  ie.  pressing a momentary button will allow power to the ignition system, pressing it again will prevent power going to the ignition system.  is there a way to allow or prevent power going to the ignition wire w/o having the relays constantly energized?

Thanks!

netZ

You can use a mechanical latching relay.  Are you sure it wasn't a latching on/off pushbutton?
