rating on relay coils??

could the output of the brain be less than the coil needs to close?  if so, how would i be able to fix that?

From what I can remember a standard automotive type relay needs ~ 150 mA to trigger..Later,

the reason why i was asking, the literature that came withthe alarm states that the wire provides a 30mA ground...? what does that mean if i need 150mA.?

it should be more than that but a transistor would work by adding a liitle power to the output to triger relay .

a standard automotive relay can draw 150 ma while the coil is energized.that would be correct.
