Hi,

I recently installed a Clifford Matrix 12 in my 99 Acura Integra. I have the domelight supervision hooked up to provide a ground to the door trigger wire when the key is turned off or the alarm is disarmed. I also have the retained accessory power output (-) running a latching relay to power my radio when the key is turned off. I have this attached at one of the male spades on the fusebox.

The problem is that when the ignition is turned off the domelight comes on as it should for thirty seconds and the radio will only stay on until the domelight supervision output shuts off. I want it to stay on until I open the door, but not affect the door trigger operation as well. So basically, my question is how do you wire retained accessory power if the door trigger wire is also getting a ground from the domelight supervision wire?

Thanks,

Brian

For negative trigger you will need to make a couple of minor adjustments. But basically  what it does is break the connection between the dome light and the pinswitch while the Dome Light Supervision is on. But opening the door will still shut down the radio. As soon as the domelight supervision shuts off the pinswitch and the domelight connection is bach to normal.
